Fool

Fall fell on far fallen fool.
Fleeing from frosted forests
For fear of frothing fire,
Fool upon fallen leaves rests.

Fool he be to be so foolish.
Fear-fed and anger-aged, he
On fear frowned and anger raged.
Foolish to be anything but love, thinks he.
Filled with love, love fool seeks.
Foolish to be forged in love
And fly formless through fear.
Fool knows; fool hears –
Anger wrought by fear.
And this is why, again and again,
Fool with love appears.
Fool fool be to be so foolish.

Fool falls, and falling thinks,
No new ken this sinking brings.
Sinking turns to slinking, see?
And failure turns to cunning, so he
Cunning conned and falling flew,
Right to the edge where his heart grew.
Fool he be to love love more,
Filled his growing heart with love more.
Fool is wise in ways doesn’t know –
Loving love brings love, doesn’t know;
Foolish to be so wise in love; wise to be so foolish.
Fool or wise, fool doesn’t know.
